Hand Placement

Changing the location or pressure of your hand on the bow grip will cause the arrow to change point of impact. . Wearing a glove in cold weather can also change hand placement. Adding a bow quiver will change bow balance and the way you grip it. Changing hand placement can cause your groups to string out either vertically or horizontally, depending on how you change pressure on the grip.

Instructions
Removing the old grip...

  1. With a hair dryer heat both the bow and grip to soften the adhesive. This may take more than 10 minutes.

  2. Remove the old grip by putting pressure at both the top and bottom the grip and not the sides. Kind of see saw it back and forth.

  3. Mathew is now putting more adhesive on. It can sometimes really be hard to get the grip off in one piece. Take your time..

  4. One the grip is off you can remove the old adhesive from the bow handle using something like Kleenz Ez or Goo Gone.

  5. Now do a test fit of the new grip to verify that it fits properly on your bow. Use the enclosed sanding block to fine tune the fit or your grip to your riser.

  6. Remove the new grip and apply a SMALL bead of adhesive in a similar location of the original adhesive that you remove. Use 3M Black Weatherstrip Adhesive for this.

  7. Use something to hold the grip on, tape, rubber band, etc.

  8. Enjoy your new grip.

Proper Bow Hand Placement....

Much has been written about this. A quick search of the internet will provide many interesting articles, with some contradicting each other. Here is a link to what I believe is one of the best ones.

Getting a grip on your bow....

What is Bow Torque

This is one of the most common problems of archers and one of the most difficult to diagnose.
Gripping your bow too tight or tension in your
bow hand or arm causes the bow to rotate in your hand. Bow torque causes your groups to string out left and right.  That is why controlling bow torque is so important.

From Our

Customers

It's been a while but hunting season is nearly over here in WI so I thought I'd let you know how the grip is working out.  The fit and feel of your grips is awesome.  It took very little time for me to get used to it and I noticed a change in consistency within the first week of shooting it.  More importantly I really noticed that the bow was much harder to torque w/ gloves on in the field.  I'm very excited to see if it improves my scores during league this winter... I'm guessing it will.  As I've been shooting at the range during hunting season I have had numerous questions about the grip and have offered interested parties to shoot it.  They were impressed as well, hopefully you have heard from some of them.  Thanks again for making a great product...
