Grip Finish
FINISHES - Buffed, Satin and Gloss
Buffed... Our 100 series of grips are made from our Premium wood. This wood has been processed in multiple layers under high pressure and heat with a special resin that penetrates all the way through the wood, that makes the wood water resistant and stronger. The wood with resin can be polished to a nice shine. The advantage to this is scratches can be sanded out and the wood re polished, the disadvantage is the the shine wears off fairly quickly and would need re-polished for appearance. Also the wood would fade over time from UV exposure.

Satin and Gloss...These can be
applied to any of our woods. The satin leaves a nice low sheen finish.
The gloss is a high shine finish. Both of these finishes offer UV
protection. Both are very similar to the clear coat finish found on cars.
NOTE: A buffed finish is shiner than a satin finish...
