Wrist Styles for Mathews Bows:
Our grips are available in three different wrist options, low wrist, medium wrist and high wrist. Choose the one that supports your style of hand placement. The stock Mathews wood grip compares to our medium wrist and the plastic Focus grip compares to our low wrist. Our low wrist follows the contour of the metal riser. The new 2019 such as the Vertix have a higher factory wrist style, so our low wrist for those models would compare to our medium wrist for the older Mathews bows. The protrusions at the top of the factory grip on both sides can produce bow torque because side pressure they produce causing those left and right shots.
Note: The pictured above is for visual reference, the heels are rounded on the grips.
Wrist
Styles for Bowtech, Diamond, Elite and Strother Bows:
The metal riser on these bows has a higher wrist angle that a Mathews riser does. A low wrist in these bows will compare similarly to a Mathews Medium Wrist. We only offer a low and medium wrist style for these bows. The low wrist will follow the contour of the metal riser.
